The MBSG concluded the first Himalaya Wood Badge course for Scoutmasters at Umtyngar

Shillong, Dec 21:   The Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides conducted the first Himalaya Wood Badge Course for Scoutmasters from 11th to 17th December, 2018 at the State Training Centre, Umtyngar for Adult Leaders from Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. 12 trainees including two women took part in the programme. The course mark the launching of the Centenary of Wood Badge Course which was first conducted at Gilwell Park, England in 1919.

In another feat, Shri Dafflyne I. Dkhar son of Albert Khongkhnian, student of Shillong College and a Rover Scout will represent the State and the Country in the Centenary of Rover Scouting celebration to be held from 24th to 26th December, 2018 at Hongkong, he will be joined by another three participants from Gujarat.  This was informed by the State Secretary, Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides.
