The MCA joined hands with My Action Replay and cricHQ to promote inclusive cricket

Shillong, Nov 22: Meghalaya Cricket Association is pleased to announce an official partnership with My Action Replay and cricHQ for live streaming and digital scoring of all levels of cricket being played under the aegis of Meghalaya Cricket Association.

The partnership will equip the Meghalaya Cricket Association to live stream the matches and have greater access to individual player data, historical data, competition and fixtures management, analytics and help encourage the game of cricket. cricHQ will work with Meghalaya Cricket Association to provide live streaming and indexed highlights of matches, bringing the game to a broader audience.

The partnership came into effect after periodic meetings and discussions between representatives of Meghalaya Cricket Association and My Action Replay and cricHQ officials in India.

Shri Nababrata Bhattacharjee, President, Meghalaya Cricket Association said that this partnership leads to a long-term community development around cricket and it is a great milestone for Meghalaya Cricket Association to bring the content to all stakeholders and develop the cricket ecosystem.

This partnership will also digitize and organize all cricket tournaments from schools, district level, women’s cricket, informal cricket and academies” “all of these games and statistics should not only be available for growing the game but bring in digitized experience and provide analytics.

In his statement, Group CEO of cricHQ, Erin Walshe, said, “being involved with the Meghalaya Cricket Association is a highlight for cricHQ. We look forward to a long, fruitful relationship with them as we provide them with valued content. Working with such administrators in India has always been a dream for us, as we thrive on collaborating with communities”.

Meghalaya Cricket Association acknowledges the services of My Action Replay and cricHQ and looks to a long-term association and relationship. Both Meghalaya Cricket Association and My Action Replay and cricHQ acknowledged the role of Invest India and Government of Meghalaya in facilitating and supporting the purpose.

Shri Gideon Kharkongor, Hon Secretary, Meghalaya Cricket Association said that “efforts are on to develop software for online highlights in Khasi and Garo languages in the near future, and this will be a step-in bringing cricket inclusiveness within the state of Meghalaya”

Meghalaya Cricket Association is the governing body for cricket activities in the North Eastern state of Meghalaya. It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Meghalaya Cricket Association’s primary objective is to identify talent around cricket and groom them. This process is managed by their coaches, scorers, video analysts and operational executives who bring those skill sets in identifying the talent.
