The MCA shortlisted 15 players to represent the state at the U-19 Women’s One Day Trophy

Shillong, Nov 20: The All Women’s Selection Committee of the Meghalaya Cricket Association has shortlisted 15 players and three standbys to represent the state at next month’s U-19 Women’s One Day Trophy, a BCCI tournament.

Meghalaya’s matches will begin on 7 December in New Delhi.  A preparatory camp for the tournament will commence on 24 November at Jagiroad, Assam. Only the final 15-member squad plus support staff will travel on to New Delhi.

Meghalaya players shortlisted are, Suruti Kumari Ray, Neelam Roy, Ankita Sharma, Sistilin Ryntathiang, Monica Lyngdoh Phawa, Marme M Sangma, Sara Daffica Kharbani, Blaridahun Dkhar, Janika Marak, Awesa G Momin, Indariakor Kharwanniang, Dubleen Nengnong, Smillin N Sangma, Dianchidora Sangma, Emisakani Warjri, Fennysha Nongrum (standby), Jaylin Mary Marak (standby), Angelica Maring (standby)

Meghalaya support staff is  Syed Nishan Fatima (head coach), Leonard Wankhar (assistant coach), Darishesha Mawroh (trainer), Sushma Thapa (physio), Chingche Ch Marak (manager) Meghalaya fixtures,vs Chhattisgarh, 7 December, vs Saurashtra, 8 December, vs Tripura, 10 December, vs Baroda, 12 December, vs Punjab, 14 December 2022.
