Shillong, May 26: The Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council Mr Titosstarwell Chyne said that today there is a meeting between in the officer of the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District, attended by the KHADC and the Syiem of Hima Myllien to discuss on the Iewduh market.
In the meeting after they have disused a length they have decided not to open the Iewduh market at this juncture. The Deputy Commissioner preside the meeting, where magistrate, official from the Syiem of Hima Mylliem and the Superintendent of Police were also present in the meeting.
The CEM of the KHADC said that after the discussion after the view express from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, from the Syiem of Hima Mylliem the guardian of the Iewduh market and from the District Council they have decided not to open Iewduh Market at this Juncture.
