Shillong, August 08: The Director of Meghalaya Health services Dr Aman War inform that the result for the GNM Nurses will be announced at the appropriate time. The Delay in declaring the result is due this COVID-19 Pandemic.
The result of the GNM should be declare on the month of March but this pandemic has taken place in order to tackle this problem the office has appointed many nurses on contractual bases to fight this COVID-19 once the situation is stabilized the result will be announced.
The Director also said that if the result is announced at this time there will be dislocation in posting the staff, if the result is announce the appointment process will take time bad the training process will have to be impart to the new recruits this will hamper the department.
Once the new recruits are appointed after the result is announced thus contractual who were selected will be appointed and thus contractual nurses will be relocate their works place on contractual bases only. The allegation on the delay of declaring the result is wrong.
