Shillong, March 05: The MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency under the leadership of Mr Sanbor Shullai MLA cum Chairman organized a public meeting, at Assam Club Laban. During a meeting various issues were discussed regarding crimes against women’s and children, anti social elements, proper regulation of traffic for exit , entry, parking and non-functioning of street lights within 19th South Shillong Constituency and after a threadbare discussion and interaction the official of Police department and the official of MePDCL has given an assurance to fully co-operate to extend their help and support to solve the problem within 30 days time in working together with cordial relationship with the authority of Dorbar Shnong , Seng Teilang ki Kynthei , NGOs and General Public.
On this day a meeting was held with the Rangbah Shnong and Ragbah Dong of Dorbar Shnong Lawsohtun and discussed regarding the recent illegal encroachment and construction of Boundary wall etc at Lawsohtun area by the defence authority, after the discussion the Rangbah Shnong Shri Mitchell Wankhar and Rangbah Dong and members of Dorbar Shnong Lawsohtun has also decided to immediately file a complaint against the defence encroachment to the Ministry of Defence Authority and the State Government.
The meeting was preside by Mr Joy Rynjah Secretary and welcome address given by Mr B. Thangkhiew Rangbah Shnong- Dorbar Shnong, Laban which was attended by Shri Ricky Shullai MDC and official of Police Department Crime branch,Traffic Branch, the MePDCL along with Rangbah Shnong, Rangbah Dong, Seng Teilang ki Kynthei, Seng Samla, NGOs and prominent leaders and residents of 19th South Shillong Constituency.
On this day it was also discussed with the RLSSCO Community Hall, Bishnupur Shillong, at 2:00 PM were Sports and Games materials has been distributed and handing over to 100 Committees comprises of College, Schools, Sports and Cultural Clubs and Youth welfare Organisation of 19th South Shillong Constituency.
