Shillong, May 01: The third event of the seventh season of the Milky Moo Championship Indian Golf Union East Zone Feeder & Sub Junior Tour rolled into the picturesque Par-70 Shillong Golf Club. The event is being hosted by Shillong Club Ltd. in collaboration with Meghalaya Golf Promoters’ Society (MGPS) who have been the driving force in getting the event to Shillong.
The first day of the prestigious event was cut short due to incessant rains and lightening due to which the play was called off. However, normal play will resume tomorrow morning at 7:30 am and the winners will emerge based on the final day’s scores.
The event saw participation of almost 35 young hopefuls from major golfing centers of the region viz. Kolkata & Tatanagar along with developing centers of Patna, Siliguri, Nagaland, Digboi, Ranchi etc. said Mr Manoj Jha in the press statement issued today.
