The NF Railway  to ply special trains for passengers in view of diversions planned

Maligaon July 04: In view of 3 days mega block between Habaipur and Lumding stations on 7^th, 8^th and 9^th July, in connection to work of doubling of track between Guwahati to Lumding, N.F. Ralway has planned to divert a number of trains running between Guwahati and Dibrugarh via north bank of Brahmaputra (Rangapara, North Lakhimpur) with 20 mts stoppage at Rangiya. These trains are:

1. 15959 Howrah – Dibrugarh Kamrup Exp. leaving Howrah from 06-07-19 to 08-07-19
2. 15910 Lalgarh Jn – Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Expleaving Lalgarh from 04-07-19 to 06-07-19
3. 12424 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Exp. leaving New Delhi from 06-07-19 to 08-07-19
4. 14056 Delhi – Dibrugarh Brahmaputra Mail leaving Delhi from 05-07-19 to 07-07-19
5. 15929 Tambaram – Dibrugarh Exp. leaving Tambaram on 04-07-19
6. 15934 Amritsar – Dibrugarh Exp. Leaving Amritsar on 05-07-19
7. 20506 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Town Rajdhani Exp. leaving New Delhi on 07-07-19
8. 15905 Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Exp. Leaving Kanyakumari on 04-07-19

Trains running between Dibrugarh to Guwahati via Mariani and Lumding will run via North Lakhimpur – Rangapara – Rangiya with 20 mts stoppage at Rangiya. Details of trains are,

1. 15960 Dibrugarh – Howrah Kamrup Exp. Leaving Dibrugarh from 06-07-19 to 08-07-19
2. 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Jn Avadh Assam Exp. Leaving Dibrugarh from 07-07-19 to 09-07-19
3. 12423 Dibrugarh Town-New Delhi Rajdhani Exp. Leaving Dbrugarh from 06-07-19 to 08-07-19
4. 14055 Dibrugarh – Delhi Brahmaputra Mail leaving Dibrugarh from 06-07-19 to 08-07-19
5. 15930 Dibrugarh – Tambaram Exp leaving Dibrugarh on 07-07-19
6. 20505 Dibrugarh Town-New Delhi Rajdhani Exp. Leaving Dibrugarh on 08-07-19

In view of these planned diversions, passenger willing to board trains towards New Delhi, Howrah, Tambaram from enroute stoppages in between Dibrugarh and Guwahati  will have to board trains at Rangiya. Similarly, passenger originating from New Delhi, Howrah, Amritsar, Kanyakumari, Tambaram willing to get down at enroute stoppages in between Guwahati and Dibrugarh will have get down at Rangiya.

N.F. Railway authority is aware of the possible problems that might be encountered by passenger as a result of the diversions. Accordingly, shuttle trains for the passengers of diverted trains have been arranged in between Guwahati and Rangiya from 06-07-2019 to 09-07-2019 with 5 mts stoppage at Kamakhya. These shuttles will connect various diverted trains. In case of late arrival of diverted trains, the shuttle train will wait for passengers. There will be three shuttle trains from Guwahati and three from Rangiya as per details given below:

1. 1. Shuttle No 05621 will depart from Guwahati at 06.00 hrs.to provide connection to passengers of 12423 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, 15960 Dibrugarh – Howrah Kamrup Express.
2. 2. Shuttle No 05623 will depart from Guwahatiat 11.00 hrs. to provide connection to passengers of 14055 Dibrugarh-Delhi Brahmaputra Mail, 15930 Dibrugrah-Tambaram Express.
3. Shuttle No 05625 will depart from Guwahati at 20.45 hrs. to provide connection to passengers of 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express, 15910 Lalgarh-Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Express.
4. Shuttle No 05626 will depart from Rangiya at 03-30 hrs. to provide connection to passengers of 15910 Lalgarh-Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Express, 15929 Tambaram – Dibrugarh Express.
5. Shuttle No 05624 will depart from Rangiya at 16.15 hrs. to provide connection to passengers of 14056 Delhi – Dibrugarh Brahmaputra Mail, 15959 Howrah – Dibrugarh Kamrup Express, 15934 Amritsar – Dibrugarh Vivek Express.
6. Shuttle No 05622 will depart from Rangiya at 19.00 hrs. to provide connection to passengers of 12424 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, 20506 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express 15905 Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Express.

Help desks will also be set up at Rangiya and Guwahati and arrangements for prompt refund of fare has also been made.
