Maligaon, Oct 27: The Northeast Frontier Railway Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed throughout Northeast Frontier Railway from 27th October to 2nd November, 2020 with the theme “VIGILANT INDIA, PROSPEROUS INDIA”.
During Vigilance Awareness Week, various programmes are being held across N.F. Railway to create awareness amongst the Railway employees and general public. The programmes started today by administering “Integrity Pledge” to the officials of N.F. Railway at Maligaon Headquarter by the General Manager, Shri Sanjive Roy.
All the five Divisions of N.F. Railway i.e. Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia are also observing the week. Officials were also encouraged to take E-pledge by visiting website and strictly adhere to extant COVID 19 prevention guidelines. During this observance, emphasis will be given for strict adherence to economy measures and sensitization workshops will be held on preventive vigilance measures.
During this week many other events like organising interactive session through webinar with officers of all departments at HQ and Divisions, holding essay and drawing competition amongst the students of various Railway Training Centres, amongst the student of various schools, screening short films on Vigilance awareness etc. An E-Vigilance Bulletin will also be released online on October 29 by General Manager of N.F. Railway on this occasion.
