Shillong, September 11: The NPP MLA Mr James K Sangma today confirms that he will contest the coming MLA election 2018 from 49-Dadengre, he said he does not have any intention to changes his Constituency.
On the selection of MLA Candidate, Mr James said that the party is to constitute Election committee, it up to the committee to decide how many candidate to filed in the coming MLA Election, it up to the election committee to decide the name of the candidate.
Mr James said that to joint or left the party this is nothing new when election is knocking at the door. From the NPP welcome to all who want to join the party and work for the interest of the state he said.
On the rumors that the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma is contesting from Ampati and Songsak, it up to him decided, but the only thing is that if he want both the constituency he has to resign either one of them this will be a big lost to the state exchanger because for sure their will be bye-Election in either constituency.
