The NPP retain back the GHADC, Mr Dipul R Marak elected as the new CEM un opposed

Shillong, March 26: The National People’s Party (NPP) today retain back the power in the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) after Mr Dipulr R Marak was elected as the new Chief Executive Member of the JHADC un oppoed.

The NPP leader Mr Denang T Sangma former CEM of the GHADC told SP News Agency that, the NPP has come back to power in the GHADC with the elelction of Mr Dipul R marak as the new CEM.

The NPP executive committee under his leadership was taople in 18th June 2017 by the congress under the leadership of Mr Boston R Marak. In the CEM elelction held today the congress did not put up candidates.

The Former CEM who resign on Friday last Mr Boston R Marak said that, he has resign as the CEM of the GHADC becouse he knew that with the change of the government Exectuive committee in the District council also change.

The former CEM said that who ever come to power in the GHADC the problem is with the sallary of its employees. One month back he as iplemented the new pay scale in the GHADC and the sallary of its employees in a month it will be aroung seven cores.
