Shillong, October 28: The president of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) of the Meghalaya State Unit Mr Jamil Ahmed has announced the first list of the party candidate that they will be contesting in MLA election 2018 in Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. Mr Danis Tynsiar will contest from Pynursla constituency in East KHasi Hills and Smti Arelitha K Sangma from Selsella Constituency of West Garo Hills.
Speaking to media person in Shillong Press club today mar Ahmed said that, the party will try to contest from 30 constituencies in this upcoming MLA election in Meghalaya, he also said that the party will a lot ticket only to new aspirants candidate they will not entertain old people who are in politic for so long, specially thus who are once get elected.
Mr Ahmed said that the party priority will be for the rural development, the villagers in Meghalaya are under developed, where ever you go villages in Meghalaya are remaining backwards if the party come to powers will work for the development of the rural areas.
