Shillong, April 04: The patient care services and academic activities of the institute went on smoothly on 4th April, 2019 like any other working day.
The situation was reviewed in a meeting chaired by Prof.(Dr).Vandana Raphael, the Director I/c, with the participation of the Dean, Medical Superintendent, Warden and all the HODs. The HODs were requested to advice the resident doctors in their respective departments to ensure that patient care services are not affected. The attendance of the Resident Doctors in majority of the departments was good.
The Institute’s Authorities expresses gratitude for the proactive approach of the Faculty Resident Doctors , Nursing and other Professional Staffs etc, in ensuring patient care services.
As a part of outreach services, a health camp and an educative talk on menstural hygiene in collaboration with Lady Keane College, was organized as part of ‘Swachhata Pakhwada,’ as per schedule. Said Dr Dr.Lakshmi Prasad in the press statement today.
