Shillong, Dec 23: The Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District has informed that on 15th December, 2019 one highly decomposed dead body of an unknown male person, unknown age, wearing apparel brown pant with red colour warmer pant, brown colour socks, white colour vest and full sleeves check shirt of mixed colour red, blue and yellow was found in Umshyrpi stream behind Masjid Laban near Umshyrpi College.
Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities have been observed and the same was sent to SDM&HO, Civil Hospital, Shillong for holding post mortem examination. After post mortem examination the dead body was kept in the Civil Hospital Morgue Room for identification and claiming.
