Shillong,June 18: The police, based on an intelligent input that one suspected person had received a consignment of illegal suspected narcotics, the ANTF East khasi Hill’s and police from Madanriting Police Station immediately proceded towards the residence of the suspect at Madanriting.
During the search of the residence two kg of opium was recovered and seized in the presence of independent witnesses. In the connection, the case has been registered and one person has been arrested vide Madanriting PS case no. 77(06) 2021 u/s 18 (c)/ 29 NDPS act .Investigation is on to ascertain more facts into the case.
