The present government inherited the Challenges from the Previous Government: Agatha

Shillong, March 19: The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly today begin the debate to the governor Address, with the motion of thank move by the Kumari Agatha Sangma government Chief Whip.

In the motion of thank to the governor address Kumari Agatha said that the present government has many challenges inherited from the previous government. The Governor address is the policy of the document for the coming one year.

In her speech Kumari Agatha, urged both the opposition and the government to work together for the growth of the state, like the mining policy, Forest policy, Tourism policy etc, should have true policy for the growth of the state.

Coming to Garo Hills region, she urged the government to open up Amrit pharmacy in Civil Hospital Tura; she also urged the government to open up one more government college in Tura to ease the student s of the region in getting admission.

Coming to protection to environment, she said that National Green Corps Eco club should be introduce at the school level so that school children’s understand the issue of the climate cgange, on the issued of employment thought it was not mention but the government will ensure for gainful employment.
