Mr Ram Nath Kovind assured if elected as president there will be no discrimination

Middle Mr Ram Nath KovindUmiam, July 07: The presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Mr Ram Nath Kovind in his campaign for the presidential Election in Meghalaya at Orchid Resort today assured that if he is elected as the President there will be not discrimination on the bases of caste, greed, region, religion, sex on geographical location.

Mr Kovind in his address he said “Your state Meghalaya is a very small state but that done not make any difference, your assembly members may have lesser vote value that does not make any difference, for me your state is wrath as the state of Utter Pradesh, like the state Maharashtra, your state and your assembly is sovereign at your on, we can say you are small people but apart from this your state has got rich culture, rich heritage, and most important thing is untapped natural resources”.

The presidential candidate also said “And what I have seen even in the matter of intelligence your people are of no match when it come into it, hear for me is not a bigger state or smaller state but the state union of India, you have an equal right in the participation in the development of India, that is haw I see each and every state, every citizen has an equal right in participation in the development of our own country and their own region”.

“Friends I can say that our country with the corporation of 1.25 million the largest and the greatest democracy of the world. The office of the president is the most reward office of democracy that reflect like Dr Rajendra Prasad, Radha Krishna, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and so on, this were all big leaders they got opportunity to adone this highest position of the country and the country as well as  the world is were aware of  our democratic rich tradition”.

Mr Kovind pointed out that “We also know that the constitution of India is supreme, as far as the governance is concern, therefore I would say it is the sacred duty, not only of the president but every citizen to upkeep and maintain the supremacy of the constitution also. The president incidentally happens to be the supreme commander of arms forces and he is bound to keep most priority to our interest of the border as well”.

He Mr Ram said “Since I became the governor of Bihar I continued to discharge my constitution assignment in a very non partisan manner without any discrimination, even today where ever I go, I say if I elected I will do justice to each citizen and each region and each state, I also assured you that there will be no discrimination on the bases of caste, greed, region, religion, sex on geographical location”.

Mr Ram said that “ I will always strived for all round development of the nation, nation improved on each state, I will also take interest in the development of a modern education, friends we also will be celebrating our completion of 75 years of our Independence in the years 2022, that will be a big event and I think by this time we have to build new India and I was told by the Prime Minister when he was in Guwahati, that the North Eastern State could become new engine for the development of the entire nation  and could become also gateway for India for the South East Asian Countries that could be big event in the year 2022”.

The MLAs who were present in this presidential election campaign are from the NPP Mr James K Sangma, Mr Nahim D Shira, from the UDP, Dr Donkupar Roy president UDP, Dr Jemino Mawthoh, Mr Paul Lyngdoh, Mr Titosstarwell Chyne, The campaign was chair by the NPP MP from Tura Mr Conrad K Sangma.
