Shillong, March 12: The Shillong Lajong FC will take on Indian Super League side, FC Pune City in the pre-quarterfinals of the inaugural edition of the Hero Super Cup 2018 on 4th April at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Lajong finished in 6th place with 22 points in the recently concluded Hero I-League and hence automatically advanced to the Round of 16 which will be held from 31st March – 6th April.
Meanwhile, the qualifiers are scheduled to take place on 15th & 16th March between the bottom four teams of I-League and Indian Super League and the four winning teams will go through to the Round of 16.
All the matches of the Super Cup will be played in a single leg knock-out format at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.
