The Synjuk also would  like to urge upon our state government to think of some relief packages for the time being especially to the poor household both urban and rural.

The Synjuk  thank the central government for the economic package that has been announed today by the Finance Minister. But here in our state of Meghalaya, as you know very well there are numbers of households who are very poor and depended solely on daily wages to pay their rations, electricity bills, etc.

If at this point of time, the government can provide free electricity, it will be a great and meaningful relief for them.
