Shillong, August 30: As a mark of recognition to their selfless service, 14 Officials of Shubham Skil Development Centre, was awarded and felicitated along with 200 male and female passed out Trainees were also awarded and felicitated by Shri Sanbor Shullai-MLA of 19th South Shillong Constituency at a function held at the premises of the centre of Rilbong Shillong, today and the programme was presided over by Shri George A. Warjri Chairman of the Greater Laban Community Development Society in collaboration with the Shubham Skill Development Centre.
This function was organized by the Greater Laban Community Development Society (GLCDS) and other prominent person Smti Pushpa Bajaj Administrative Officer, Shri Ramawatar Bajaj-Chief Patron, Guest of Honor Smti Sarita Pandey Vice-President and members of Dorbar Shnong, Seng Kynthei, GLCDS and members of various NGO’s also felicitate the Official and Trainees of the Institute.
The Chief Guest Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA, speaking on the occasion lauded the sustain effort of the Centre and the Greater Laban Community Development Society, in order to recognized and encourage the educated un-employed youths to create self employment who have passed out their trainings in various profession and he wish all trainees best wishes in their future carrier.
All awardees were awarded with the citation, certificate of recognition, household materials and gift hampers, and the vote of thanks was given by Miss Lucia Marwein-Social Secretary of the GLCDS.
