The turn up of voters in the MLA election in Williamnagar today is 76.63%: DC

Shillong, April 27: The turn up of the voters in the MLA election in Williamnagar that was held today is 76.63%. The Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills Mr Ram Kumar who is also returning officer said that election passes off peacefully without any untoward incident. The counting of vote will be held on the 1st May next month.

The Election Commission of India has postponed the election is due to the death of the NCP candidate Mr Jonathone Sangma NCP candidates who was killed in the bomb blast in the general election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly that was held on 27th February 2018.
