Shillong, May 28: Mr D D Shira the returning Officer for the by election to the 53-Ampati Assembly constituency said that the turnout in today polling is 90.42%. The polling passes off peacefully without any untoward incident.
When asked is there any polling station that will be have re-polling, the returning officer said that, this will be decided by the general observer after filling form 17(A). But by and large the polling passes of peacefully.
