The UCO Bank organised Vigilance Awareness Programme with students in Shillong

Shillong, October 29: The UCO Bank has organised Vigilance Awareness Programme in Shillong with the  Students of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School and St. Mary’s College of Teaching Education participated in Essay writing Competition. The theme of esaay writing was “My Vision- Corruption free India”.

Mr  Ratal Barua, News Editor, Meghalaya Guardian was Chief Guest of the function. Speaking on the occasion he said that corruption starts from ourselves. We have to make ourselves perfect then only we can eradicate corruption.

Professor of St. Mary’s College of Teaching Education explained need of corruption free India. Shri Dilip Mondal, Chief Officer from Vigilance Dept., Head Office was also present on the occasion.Mr Arnab Barkataki, Asstt. General Manager of UCO Bank, Shillong Branch elaborated on various ways of eradicating Corruption.

Mr Alok Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Zonal Head of UCO Bank, Zonal Office, Guwahati administered the pledge to the participants. He read out the message of Hon’ble President of India and explained the need of organising Vigilance Awareness Week. Mr Manish Bhowmick of Zonal Office conducted the programme.The meeting ended with a Vote of thanks by Shri Alok Kumar Srivastava.
