The Villages under Ranikor Civil Sub-Division that was inaugurated today are 160 in numbers

Shillong, July 10:  The Government of Meghalaya has created a new Civil Sub-Division to be called Ranikor Civil Sub-Division in South West Khasi Hills District with headquarters at Ranikor. With the formation of the aforesaid Civil Sub-Division and consequent upon its creation, the Ranikor Civil Sub-Division shall function from its headquarters at Ranikor with effect from 10th July, 2018. This was informed by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya.

The villages falling under Ranikor Civil Sub-Division are Mawpud, Mawpud, Lower Mawpud, Pyndenwar, Dommawlein, Keniong, Thiepdiengngan, Wahbamon, Nongdewsaw, Munai, Mawhati, Photkroh, New Rangasora, Rudu A and B, Kolomboit, Myriaw, Ditumtum, Pyndenlaru, Photietsim, Ranikor, Pamdaba, Khadphra, Mawlongbah, Kensohsan, Alekwareng, Dirang, Shnongkalong, Nolikata, Khangkhlak, Kewri, Larkaw, Chikonbari A and B, Shirapara, Munaisora, Bolabeta, Koraigora, West Rangasora, East Rangasora, East Gulsora, Ampangre, Tibichiring, Khasiadop,
