Three days training for Other Stakeholders on “Conservation Education” at Burnihat

Shillong, Oct 11: Three days training for Other Stakeholders on “Conservation Education” for Teachers and  Students of Eco-clubs and  Educational Institutions from 11th to 13th October 2022 is organized at the Central Academy for State Forest Service (CASFOS), Burnihat, Assam.

The training was inaugurated by Shri M K Yadava, IFS, PCCF & HoFF, Government of Assam, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest in the presence of Dr. C. Ramesh, IFS, Principal, CASFOS, Burnihat, Dr. Ramkrishnan R., Scientist-C, CASFOS, Burnihat, Shri C. A. Rahman, IFS (Retd.) Faculty & Course Director, CASFOS, Burnihat.

Mr.MK Yadava IFS, PCCF & HoFF, Assam delivered the inaugural address and congratulated the participants on joining the training programme which will enhance their wisdom about the conservation of nature.

He also emphasized the participants to observe changes in the neighbourhood environment and to dissipate the knowledge gained in the training to colleagues and friends.

Dr C. Ramesh IFS, Principal, Central Academy for State Forest Service, Burnihat in his speech informed that the training is organized to bring people near to nature and appreciate the importance of nature in their daily life.

Mr. C. A. Rahman, IFS (Retd.) Faculty & Course Director, CASFOS, Burnihat welcomed the chief guest and all the participants by presenting the overview of the training. 35 participants consisting of 13 Teachers and 22 students from various Eco-Clubs and Educational Institutions of Assam and  Meghalaya are attending the training.
