Shillong, November 14: The Syiem of Hima Mylliem Pa’im Ricky Nelson Syiem said that till date the Hima have not receive any thing from the Special Central Assistance Scheme (SCAS) from the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
Speaking to SP News Agency, Pa’im of Hima Mylliem Ricky Nelson Syiem said that the office of the Syiem of Hima Mylliem till date have not recicve anything from the KHADC from the SCAS for renovation work in the Iewduh Market.
To recall in the year 2016, Iewduh has witness the visit of many government official functionaries, right from the then governor of the state Mr V Shanmuganathan, The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma, Urban Affair Minister RV Lyngdoh ang the head of the KHADC Mr PN Syiem.
The Chief Executive Member of the KHADC Mr PN Syiem on his visit to Iewduh ha has assure the Syiem and the myntri of Hima Mylliem that the KHADC will earmark some money from the SCAS for Iewduh to enable the Hima Mylliem to carried out some repair work in the Market.
