Shillong, January 14: The Tourist Taxi Driver Mr Gasper Jones Hynniewta playing Shillong Guwahati on Friday hanaded two minor girls to Mawlai Police Station after they refuded to get off the vhicle after reching Mawlai. Both the girls are around 13 years of age.
The Tourist Taxi driver told the police that this two girls boarded the vehicle from Khanapara and on reaching at Mawiong, Shillong, all passengers get off the vehicle, except the two girls.
During enquiry, the girls stated that they fled away from home after quarrelling with their relatives. Both of them were sent for medical examination and handed over to Shelter Home. On Jan. 13 they were handed over to their relatives.
