To avoid community transmission  urged all the returnees to follow strictly the protocol: Hek

Shillong, June 02: To avoid community transmission Meghalaya health Minister Mr AL Hek today urged all the returnees to follow strictly the protocol given by the government to them while they are on the quarantine period.

The Health Minister of Meghalaya said that the total numbers of COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya has gone up to 30 till today with the two person tested positive today in Tura after they return from Utter Pradesh.

The total cases in Meghalaya is 30, one deceased, 12 person recover and 17 active cases in the state. Health Minister appeal to all thus who are in the quarantine period to follow strictly to the protocol issued from the Government to   avoid community tramission.
