Shillong, April 01: In an effort to mark the Clean India Healthy India initiative NEIGRIHMS today kick stared the Swachhta Pakhwada program as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. From 1st – 15th April 2022 NEIGRIHMS will focus on Cleanliness, Sanitation and Hygiene drive in Campus and in localities around Shillong.
As a part of launch of program NEIGRHIMS Doctors, staff and patients took collective Swachhta pledge in presence of Director NEIGRIHMS Prof. Nalin Mehta, Medical Superintendent Prof. C Daniala, Dean NEIGRIHMS Prof. AsimaBhattachryya and Smt. Amanda Jyrwa (President Rotary Club Shillong).
NEIGRIHMS has planned various activities including cleanliness drives, health conference, debate and skit competition over next 15 days to increase the cleanliness and hygiene awareness amongst the staff, patients and publicincollaboration with Rotary Club Shillong.
After the pledge a ‘Shramdan, activity (Voluntary cleanliness) and a tree plantation session was held at NEIGRIHMS in collaboration with Rotary Club Shillong.
