Shillong, Feb 28: With bed strength of 30 beds in 2001, NEIGRIHMS has come a long way to the present bed strength of 567 with 18913 in-patient admissions in 2018-19. 416803 patients visited various specialities and super specialties OPDs during 2018-19.
Undergraduate programme (MBBS course) was started in the institute from 2008, followed by postgraduate programme (MD/MS) in various specialities in 2009. Post-Doctoral programme (Cardiology) is running since 2012.
On 1st March 2019 NEIGRIHMS is celebrating the 9th Annual Day. The Programme shall begin at 2 pm in the institute auditorium with a welcome song by MBBS students. Shri. Rakesh Sasibhusan, Chairman cum Managing Director, Antrix Corporation Ltd., will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Sanjeev Mishra, Director, AIIMS Jodhpur will be the Guest of Honour. Graduation Ceremony of MBBS (2013 batch), MD/MS, DM and M.Sc. nursing will start at 3:25 pm. At 4:30 pm refreshments for all participants and invitees shall be served followed by a cultural Programme at 4:45 pm.
