Shillong, May 26: The Newly Elected Member of Parliament Tura Lok Sabha Shri. Conrad K Sangma along with Shri. James K Sangma MLA today met the Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya Mr. V. Shanmuganathan and the Chief Minister of Meghalya Dr. Mukul Sangma respectively on his stay in the state capital.
The MP from Tura term the visits as a Courtesy calls and in this meeting he also highlight crucial issues pertaining to the Garo Hills in general and GHADC in particular. He Conrad impressed upon the Leadership of the State the urgency to release the GHADC’s share of funds of the Transport department to enable the Garo District Council to release the long pending Salaries of its Staffs at the earliest.
