Shillong, February 24: The Inspector General of the BSF incharge Eastern Frontier PK Dubey, said that at the DG level meeting between the two countries India and Bangladesh that was held recently in Dhaka has agreed that Umngot River In West Jiantia Hills District and Kelapara War Manorial will be declare as Tourist spot.
He further said that, in this DG Level Meeting both the countries has agreed that they will have joint patrolling in the sixty eight patches in the border of Meghalaya areas with Bangladesh and this will be for sixth month and after sixth month they will again review the ground situation, whether they will continued joint patrolling in the same area. In this meeting both the Country has agreed that India will provide medical assistance to the BGB in areas where medical faculties are not in the BGB said in case of emergency.
From the BGB has put pressure on the BSF that cattle smuggling should be stop from Meghalaya going to Bangladesh, the IG said that this cattle smuggling from Meghalaya is not much as compare with others areas. The BSF has put forth before the BGB that trafficking should be stop from Bangladesh since this happen mainly in Assam and West Bengal.
Coming to Fake Indian Currency Note, the BSF told the BGB that, this fake note is coming from Pakistan to Bangladesh and the BSF strongly belief this is the handy work of the Inter Services Inelegance (ISI) of Pakistan. The BSF have asked the Bangladesh Government not to allow their soil for any anti Indian activities.
The Government of India has granted permission to the Government of Bangladesh to used Indian road to carry materials to the Chittagong Hills track for the construction of the BOP in the Bangladesh side since these areas are not accessible by road from the Bangladesh side.
To have more friendly relation between the two countries they have decided to have games on the border and media exchange programmed, on heinous crimes both the country have agreed that they will allowed only to visit the crime seen and not investigation on the crimes.
