Shillong, November 30: The decision of Mr Rophul S Marak MLA from Rongra-Siju Constituency to withdraw from the MUA-II Government led by Dr Mukul Sangma in last minute is only joke said Augustine R Marak MDC from MDC from Silkigre.
The Garo National Council leader who is also sitting MDC in the GHADC said that their MLA never raise his voice for the development of Rongara Siju Constituency , in last five years.
He never raise his voice against NGT Bandh issue, border issue and about the delay of National Highway 62 construction. Dr. Mukul given him good bed, net, cousins and mattress to sleep and he sleep well for 5 years.
Now he is waking up only to celebrate the upcoming Christmas and saying Christmas joke as ” MUA-11 neglected the Rongara Siju Constituency “. Why didn’t such words comes before 2 to 3 years if MUA-11 government really neglected our constituency, asked Mr Augustine.
Mr Augustine asked “where is the MLA of Rongara Siju Constituency in last 5 years to raise issues of our constituency? Nobody will believe in the last minute acting and last minute wake up, He nvever raise his voice to set up C&RD Block in Siju area, he said in the press statement issued today.
