Shillong, July 15: The World population fort night is being observed by NEIGRIHMS with effect from 11th July to 24th of July 2017. The aim is to increase population awareness on various population issues.
The opening ceremony was held on 11th July at 9 am in the OPD Foyer, where many experts of institute spoke on the importance of observing the World population fort night.
NEIGRIHMS has set up an exhibition cum help desk outside the Gynae and Obstetric Department where three trained Hospital Professionals educate people regarding various safe methods of population control. In the past four days more than ninety clients availed the benefit of the services.
