Shillong, Nov 24: The BSF continued organizing event as they were preparing to mark its 55th Raising day in December.In continuation with celebration of 55th Raising Day of BSF, a medical camp was organized by 123BnBSF on 23rd Nov 2019 at I.P school Kasinda.
The Commandant of 123 BnBSF inaugurated the camp and large number of villagers attended the camp from nearby villages Kasinda, Daliya, and Umtham .Around 300 villagers got their medical checkup done by veteran doctors of BSF and Medicines were also distributed to needy villagers.
In addition to this, a drawing competition was also organized at S.S.A primary school in village ThisangBasti, Nongjuri. Around 52 students took participation in the competition and prizes were distributed.
The Commandant 123 BnBSF also addressed gathering and assured that BSF would continue its contribution towards ameliorating health and education standard of border residents. Headman of villages and school teachers present over there expressed their sincere gratitude towards BSF for such an extreme generosity.
