Shillong, Dec 13: The District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District Smt Matsiewdor War Nongbri has announced that the curfew has been relax for 12 hours from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM in all the areas that falls under the Lumdiengjri Police Station and Sardar Police Station and their respective outpost and beat houses.The order of the District Magistrate read as given below.
“In continuation to the order contained wide memo wide Memo C&S.3/2009/PT I/214-A dated Shillong 12th December 2019 and in view of the prevailing law and order situation, I Smti M War Nongbri, IAS, District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in exercise of the power confer upon me under section 144 Cr.PC, do herby relax the curfew in all the curfew bound area notified under Lumdiengjri Police Station and under Sardar Police Station and their respective outpost and beat houses for 12(Twelve) hours with effect from 10.00 Am to 10.00 Pm on the 13th December 2019 and is promulgated again in the same areas with effect from 10.00 PM 13th December 2019 and until further orders”.
“In view of the urgency of the matter this order has been made exparte and it shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force till further order. Give under my hand and seal this the 13th December 2019. Smt M. War Nongbri District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District.
