HITO file FIR in Laban PS against Govt official related to the booth level meeting of the BJP

Shillong, August 11: The organsation Hynniewtrep Integrated Territorial Organsation (HITO) today filed First Information Report (FIR) base on the media report aginst the BJP party booth level meeting of 19-South Shillong  Legislative Assembly held at Assam Club in Laban on 31st July 2021 in which BJP National General Secretary and others attended the said meeting without maintaining the Covid-19 protocol and  guide line issued by the Government of Meghalaya.

The  FIR filed by the organsation, said that they  have come to learn from the “Don Bosco Media Network” news channel, that BJP party booth level meeting of 19-South Shillong Legislative Assembly held at Assam Club in Laban on 31st July 2021 in which BJP National General Secretary and others attended the said meeting without maintaining the Covid-19 protocol and  guide line issued by the Government of Meghalaya.

The same information was shared with the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District vide letter dated 03-08-2021 by the undersigned, however till date no action was initiated by the said authority against those culprits.

Therefore, being aggrieved with the action of the said authority, the undersigned has no other option to redressing their grievance, henceforth they are filling this instant report and  complaint so that the culprits can be punished for violating the said protocol as per the pandemic Act and other penal code.

Further the undersigned would like to request your good office to register a case against the Deputy Commission, East Khasi Hills District and the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong for not registering a complaint against against Smti P. Jyrwa, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya for giving permission dated 29th July 2021.

In the FIR the organsation alleged that  without the authority of law and further for giving an absolute permission without mentioning the protocol and guide line in the said permission more so she has violated the various orders which are issued from time to time by the Government of Meghalaya in connection with the Covid 19 protocol.

This is for your information and necessary action and further to punished the culprits for violating the pandemic Act and protocol of Covid-19 and also to take action against the authorities name mentioned above, said Mr Dobok Dkhar Prsident and James Lyndoh Nongpyiur Disciplinary Secretary of the organsation.
