Shillong, May 10: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority, under the patronage and guidance of the Mr. Justice I. P. Mukerji, Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya and Patron-in-Chief, Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority and supervision of Mr. Justice H. S. Thangkhiew, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya and Executive Chairman,
Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority, has organised the National Lok Adalat on the 10″ of May, 2025 in all the districts of the State of Meghalaya, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
In the National Lok Adalat, 270 Pre-Litigation cases and 283 pending cases were taken up for settlement. Total number of cases taken up was 553, of which 140 cases were settled for a total amount of 1,21,74,757 lakh.
