Shillong, June 12: Ka Lympung Ki Seng Kynthei in its meeting held on 10th June, 2025 expressed grave concern at the recent killing of Shri Raja Rajhuvanshi husband of Sonam Rajhuvanshi, the newly married couple from Indore on their Honeymoon trip to Meghalaya on 21st May, 2025.
On the 2nd of June 2025 his body was found from Weisawdong George but there was no trace of Sonam it was then that the social media, national media and individuals from across the state started accusing the people of Meghalaya with all hate speeches that really tarnish the image of our beautiful and peaceful state which has really hurt our sentiments.
Ka Lympung Ki Seng Kynthei has strongly condemned these people, social media, national media and individuals that have indulge in maligning the images of the state and its people and therefore they must apologies to the people of the state.
The search teams led by the state police along with NRDF, SRDF West Jaintia District adventurer mountaineering club, community, tourist guides etc who with their tremendous effort were able to trace the body out.
In this regards they would like to express our thanks and gratitude to these wonderful teams and also to the police who crack the case within a few days. Congratulations to all and salute to our police force. Sonam and four others who are accused of killing her husband should be punish severely according to the law of the land.
However we would like to express our condolences to family of Late Raja Rajhuvanshi because as mothers they understand the pain and agony that the parents of Raja have gone through at the lost of their loving son, said Smti. T. Phanbuh President Ka Lympung Ki Seng Kynthei.
