Meghalaya Govt asked Chief Secretary to speed up identification of wending zone for Hawkers

Shillong, August 13: The Deputy Chief Minister Mr Prestone Tynsong today inform that in the review meeting that was chair by the Chief Minister Mr Cornad K Sangma they have discussed on the problems face by the hawkers who earn their living by selling essential items on the road side.

On this issued the government has asked the   Chief secretary to speed identification of wending zone for the hawkers and submit the report to the government so that the government can take the final decision.

Regarding the hawkers selling their goods at Motphran, from the Government has instructed the District administration to look into it, said Deputy chief Minister Mr Tynsong.
