Shillong, July 16: The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker, Shri Metbah Lyngdoh, expresses his deepest condolences to the bereaved family following the death of Shri Obil Kyndait, former MLA of then Rymbai constituency (1978), six time MDC and former CEM and Chairman, Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council.
Shri Obil Kyndait passed away at his residence in Mihmyntdu, West Jaintia Hills on Friday morning, the 16th of July, 2021 following a brief illness. His cremation will be held on Saturday at Mukhaialong, East Jaintia Hills.
He will forever be remembered for his impassioned dedication to serve the people of his constituency and the state at large. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
