Shillong, May 25: Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Prestone Tynsong inform that the Meghalaya Government has asked the Health Department to prepare report withn 48 hours and submit to the Government on how they could help COVID-19 patients who are admited in private hospital for treatment.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Government has also asked the Health Department to submit the suggestions to the Government on how to help this family who lost their family members due to COVID-19 the government is considering how to help thus family in this times of crises.
Mr. Prestone said that after getting the report and suggestion from the health department the government will take the decision on how to go in extending helping hand from the government to thus family. Once the Government take the decision will informed.
In the meeting today government has decided to put up 20 beds for Corona care center in all the CHCs and PHCs in the state, in Shillong three more government building will be converted Corona care centre, that is the ITI building in Rynjah, The building Commerce and Industry at Nongrim Hills and BTC building at Malli.
The Government has asked the Health Department to submit the report to the government on the requirements of Manpower. In Shillong in this three building will have 150 beds.
