Shillong, July 15: The MLA from Umsning of Ri Bhoi District Mr Jason S Mawlong clarified that he has not attend the wedding ceremony at Greenwood Resort in Assam.
In the clarification the MLA said that, in the light on the recent unverifiable and unsubstantiated report that has virally spread through social media, even causing the media to speculate such rumours.
“I Jason S Mawlong affirm that in no manner have i been a party or attendee to the wedding ceremony held at Khanapara Greenwood Reosrt. My primary concern is my people, my constituents and i will not in any manner endanger them.”
The MLA from Umsning said that this is to dispel all rumours and gossip about my being as part of the weeding party. Mr Jason said that this can bring to rest this matter once in for all. These is a challenging time that we face we should work together as responsible citizens.
