Shillong, July 19: The National people’s Party MLA from Dagenggre of West Garo Hills Mr. James K Sangma along with the party members met the Chief Minister Mr. Conrad K Sangma in his office and submit memorandum demanding for the creation of the new District in West Garo Hills under Dadenggre.
Mr. James K Sangma cabinet minister who is also holding power and others portfolios in the memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister requesting him to consider for up gradation of Dadenggre Civil Sub Division to the District.
The Chief Minister earlier while announcing the upgradation of the Mairang Civil Sub Division to the New District in West Khasi Hills District has inform that the power minister also asked for the upgradation of Dadenggre Civil Sub Division to new District.
