NGEA will resumed their agitation if EC of the GHADC did not  revoke termination order

Shillong, Sept 09:  The Non-Gazetted Employee Association Tura have submitted the seven days ultimatum to the Chief Executive Member Garo Hills Autonomous District Council Tura, demanding to recall and revoked the suspension order dated.06.08.2021 issued to their leaders.

The seven Executive Member of Non-Gazette Employee Association Tura and to recall the termination order dated.06.08.2021 against  Shri. Senora Johny Arengh the President of the NGEA.

It is stated that the President of the NGEA was terminated from his service on 06.08.2021 and other seven executive Member of NGEA were placed under suspension on the same day i.e. on 06.08.202.

The suspension of the Executive Member and the termination of the President of NGEA was initiated by the Principle Secretary to the Executive Committee of GHADC based on the resolution taken by the Executive Committee of GHADC on 05.08.2021.

The Executive Committee led by NPP on 05.08.2021 has hold the meeting and same was decided to suspend all the Executive Members of the NGEA namely Shri. Brithen M. Sangma,Secretary  Shri. Flamingbirth B. Marak Joint-Secretary, Shri.. Balseng M. Sangma Adviser, Shri. Augustbel R. Marak (Adviser) Shri. Henyverth Marak(Member), Shri, Mento A. Sangma Member Shri. Francis R. Marak Member and the Executive Committee of GHADC have further decided and took a resolution to terminate the service of the President of NGEA Shri. Senora Johny Arengh.

The Executive Committee led by NPP during the meeting held on 05.08.2021 alleged that Shri. Senora Johny Arengh President of the NGEA and the seven other Executive Member of NGEA that they the Executive Committee of GHADC were not satisfy.

If the EC not satisfied with the show cause reply filed by the President and other seven Members of NGEA and further alleged that the President of NGEA and other seven Executive Members have made a counter allegation against the Executive Committee of GHADC and the Principle Secretary of GHADC.

The Employee Association of GHADC clarified that the President of NGEA and seven other Executive Member of NGEA simply made a statement and point out the fact what had happened in the past in their show cause reply to the Principle Secretary of GHADC.

In their reply to the show cause the NGEA Leader only point out that the EC of GHADC and the Principle Secretary themselves were not following the Covid protocol/guidelines or SOP Standard operating Procedure issued by the Central Govt. as well as by the State Govt.

The Leader of the NGEA give an example that hundreds of people gather everyday in the GHADC premises or Office for paying taxes or to renew their various License and there was no maintenance of SOP like Social distancing, hand sanitizer Wearing of mask etc but the EC and the Principle Secretary of GHADC never insist this public to maintain the SOP and further stated that on 04.06.2021.

The CEM of GHADC have invited various NGOs the entire employees of GHADC including the Leader of the NGEA but at that time of public meeting and public gathering no SOP was maintain but shockingly the Leader of the NGEA have just gather for the meeting on 22th July, 2021 with the strict maintenance of SOP and have discussed for non fulfillment of the promises and assurance made on 04.06.2021.

The  Executive Committee and the Principle Secretary of GHADC have decided to terminate and suspend the President of the NGEA and seven other Members of NGEA on the allegation of not following the SOP etc.

In this respect the entire Non-Gazethed Employee Association of GHADC have given Seven Day ultimatum demanding for recalling of the termination order and suspension order issue to their leaders.

The NGEA leaders  further stated that if EC of GHADC failed to considered the demand of the Employee Association they will resume the agitation or take the fresh future course of actions very shortly, said Mr. FD Marak in the Press Statement.
