Shillong, February 10: The Meghalaya Police has arrested one person identified as Mr. Pynshailang Puwein wanted in Lumdiengjri cheating case was apprehended along with four others by SOT of East Khasi Hills District.
The arrested person travelling in two vehicles a Celerio and a Swift and from their procession a country made .22 pistol with 4 ammunition recovered the two vehicles, 6 mobiles and some incriminating documents were seized.
Persons arrested are, Mr. Aidonsing Nongsiej 40 years, Mr. Orally Khardewsaw 33 years, Mr. Wanrilang Nongkynrih 33 years, Mr. Mossingstar Nongbri 28 years, and including Pynshailang Puwein 33 years.
A case is registered vide Mawsynram PS Case No: 06(02)2025 U/S 336(3)/3(5) BNS R/W Sec 25(1A)(1B) Arms Act. Investigation is on to ascertain their criminal activities.
