Residential Program in 3D Animation for the youth of North Eastern  States

Shillong, Feb 23:The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in its effort to enhance education and skills in the field of Animation, Visual Effects and Gaming so as to enhance the employability of the youths in the sector of Media and Entertainment, has recently tie up with Software company Auto Desk to launch the first ever 3D Animation programs for the youths from North Eastern States.

The North Eastern Council (NEC), Government of India, has approved to fund the program’s component of fooding, lodging and also provide a high end laptop to each trainee. The program is a fully funded residential program for a period of 6 months training and 2 months on the job training.

The training is to be carried out under National Film Development Corporation which is a PSU under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and is a skill awarding body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
