Shillong, Feb 21: The Deputy Commissioner (S), East Khasi Hills District has informed the public consumers that rice under NFSA and Non-NFSA and Wholemeal Atta for the month of February 2023 is being released through their respective Fair Price Shops.
Rice under AAY will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card free of cost and PHH quota at the scale of 5 kgs per head free of cost. Non-NFSA quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 7.215 kgs per household @ Rs. 12.70/- to Rs. 13.00/- per kg. Wholemeal atta will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per card in urban area and 3 kgs per card in rural area @ Rs. 10.50/- per kg.
The NFSA beneficiaries are to submit the Aadhaar Number to the Fair Price Shop dealer for the smooth functioning of the ePOS device.
Any non-supply, supply of less prescribed scale, overcharging or supply of inferior quality should be reported to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (S), East Khasi Hills, Shillong.
