Shillong, July 04: The State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mr Ernest Mawrie today declared the State Mahila Morcha team in a small gathering maintaining Social Distance at the State Party Office.
Apart from the President of the Mahila, others office bearers of the Mahila are Smti Sumitra Laloo and Nepolina Marak Vice President, Smti Geeta Sarin as the General Secretary, along with them there others seventeen office bearers were also selected.
On the incident at Lawsohtun the State President Mr Ernest Mawrie condemned the incident yesterday afternoon 03rd July,2020 and urged upon the State Government to take stringent action against people who take law into their own hand.
This is duty bound of the State Government to see that no one violates the SOP for Covind 19 instead of individuals or groups taking the law into their own hand. This may be mention that few boys were attacked by another group resulting injuring five youths.
At the same time Mr Mawrie appealed the citizens of Meghalaya in general and Shillong in particular to strictly follow the protocol of Covind 19 as the cases in the State are increasing.
