The agreed text for settlement was finalized, need GOI approval

Shillong January 05: A Tripartite meeting was held today in the Police Guest House, Golflink under the chairmanship of Shri P C Haldar, Government of India Representative which was attended by Shri Shambhu Singh, Joint Secretary, [NE], MHA, Shri W M S Pariat, Chief Secretary, Shri K S Kropha, Principal Secretary, Home & Political Departments along with other State Government officials. The ANVC delegations were led by Shri Wanding K Marak, General Secretary, ANVC and Shri Rimpu N Marak, Chairman, ANVC (B) respectively. The agreed text for settlement was finalized. The matter would now be processed further to obtain the approval of the Government of India and the State Government.This is the written statement from the government of Meghalaya. (SP News)
